This excellent VTCT level 2 diploma is ideal for anyone wishing to embark on a new career in the beauty industry. It is usually required by salon employers and is perfect for home based or mobile therapists. Your course will include 8 practical units which are listed below plus 3 theory units. The maximum number on a course is 6 making sure that you receive lots of individual care and attention. The Cottage Training Centre based in Hythe, Southampton has an excellent reputation and prides itself on high professional standards and a lovely working environment. Many past students have provided lovely testimonials which you can read for yourself. The timescale that you complete your qualification is entirely up to you and Kim will help you design a training schedule that fits in with your current lifestyle. After attending the training centre for each practical unit you then need to do case studies on friends and family to develop confidence. You will also receive the opportunity to work in my salon for a day gaining excellent experience.
The majority are day time courses commencing at 9.30am. If any dates are not suitable we may be able to book you in for 1-1 training. This can result in achieving this qualification in a very quick timescale. You will be fully supported from enrolment to final qualification but must appreciate the commitment to practice and home study. A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required and the remaining costs can be paid in instalments. The product and equipment kit can be purchased at the outset or as you study each unit.
