This advanced VTCT level 3 beauty therapy training course qualification provides an excellent progression from level 2 and you would be an extremely well qualified therapist highly sought after in spas, salons, cruise liners and airlines. You will acquire an excellent expertise in advanced body and facial therapies. If you are already qualified in any units these can be accredited to the diploma although you may be required to show your lecturer a treatment. We run the course over a very short timescale and 100% commitment and attendance is required.
The course contains 9 units and as case studies will be required for most of the units you must be prepared to allot reasonable time to developing and practising these new skills. The Cottage Training Centre has a salon and we can book you clients to work on at extra cost. This will be arranged with your lecturer.
Please note it is possible to gain certificates in some of the individual units in this qualification that are more popular in the beauty industry. E.g. Swedish massage, facial and body electrical, body wrapping & masks. They are equally well recognised and may provide an easier and more suitable option.

- Galvanic therapy to the face and body
- High frequency current to the face and body
- Vacuum suction to the face and body
- Non surgical face lift to the face
- Mechanical massage to the body
- Advice on dietary control
- Provide basic individual exercise for a client
- Body wrapping and body masks
- Microdermabrasion
There are 2 other units relating to working with colleagues and clients which will be linked to your practical work. The diet and exercise units will be done on home study with one final assessment.
Level 2 beauty therapy is of benefit although not compulsory.
Diploma in health, safety and hygiene can be taken simultaneously if not held.

Case studies can be undertaken at the Cottage Training Centre at a cost of £10 per session.
