These two treatments enable you to offer spa therapies without the need for a shower facility. The techniques have been especially designed for the cleanest and easiest way to add these treatments to your therapy menu. This day is divided into two. The morning teaches you the skills to offer a full body wrap to clients using a gel base and thermal bandages. The effects are excellent and clients benefit from improved skin condition as well as losing inches. In the afternoon you will learn how to do a full body mask using both mineral mud and chocolate. Included is body brushing techniques. Products can be purchased for the body masks and these use natural ingredients.
All health & safety & hygiene is covered and if you wish this course can be accredited by VTCT as it forms part of a level 3 diploma in beauty techniques. A Cottage Training Centre certificate will be issued awarding CPD points and valid for insurance.

Learn to stimulate and balance the body’s energy flow using the 12 major meridians. An excellent treatment that can be applied with other therapies, or used alone. Suitable through clothing so very portable. Specific conditions can respond extremely well. CPD

- Assess and treat common specific conditions affecting joints and their supporting muscles. Enrol on any one or more workshops listed below to increase your body work skills and client base. Swedish massage or equivalent required. Shoulder – subscapularis tendonitis – a condition that causes pain and restricted movement.
Elbow- medial epicondylitis (tennis elbow) - pain when gripping and lifting
Neck –Poor posture, whiplash causing pain in the head, neck, shoulders and upper back.
Lower back pain – assess and treat muscles and ligaments of the lumbar area.
Knee – Patella tendonitis – overuse, twisting and turning activities causing pain.
Ankle/foot – Achilles tendonitis. Plantar fasciaitis, ligament sprains.
- Hands on stretches and strengthening exercises to assist your clients in correcting and alleviating the stresses poor posture can cause. Excellent for clients sitting at desks, driving for long periods of time and the many other factors that contribute to muscle tension. No pre requisite qualification required. - A fascinating and traditional method of hair removal ideal for eyebrows. Depilation certificate required.
- Taught by Simon Gall of the Traditional London School of Thai massage. A wonderful hour long treatment that relaxes and balances the body through the feet. You will receive a complimentary traditional stick to deliver some of the techniques and enjoy Simon’s introduction to the Thai language. No pre-requisite required although some insurers prefer a massage qualification to be held if you intend to work on clients.
